The heroes who have survived the snap will return defeated and confused to New York There they will know the news that even Furia has disappeared and they will take his pager to call whoever he was calling. After a moment, Captain Marvel appears and they begin to create a plan.
In Titan we find Tony and Nebula that must escape from there with the Milano, first they must rebuild it and then go through space knowing that they may not survive.
Let's go back to Earth, the heroes want to avenge the disappeared and want to strike Thanos again, for that, thanks to Captain Marvel they will be able to have a spaceship and find the place where the Mad Titan is with the gems (in my opinion , I think Carol can feel them because her power comes from them). Not everyone will want to embark on that journey to the cosmos, for example Banner will stay and Ant-Man has not yet left the Quantum Realm. The brave ones are: Captain Marvel, Rocket, Black Widow, Captain America, Thor and War Machine. They get to the place, (I think it's Xandar) and to their surprise, Rocket recognizes a ship.
The Milano has arrived before them, everyone is happy to see Tony alives, but Rocket feels very much what has happened with his friends and his desire to kill Thanos increase. The Titan is there and they start a fight that can't finish very well, Thor can't hit him in the head because he has the helmet again. In this battle some of the superheroes will die, like Captain Marvel, Thor, Nebula and Captain America. The rest will have to retire to not die and continue with their lives, although Tony doesn't survive by his abilities, but because Thanos swore to Doctor Strange that he would leave him alive.
The defeated return to Earth and everything is in chaos, Tony can not believe what has happened and feels guilty because his friends have died for some mistake of his. Arriving in New York, he meets Pepper.
What's left of the superheroes is not enough to take down Thanos and they decide to get away. Spend a time, in my opinion a year, and Ant-Man finally out of the Quantum Realm without understanding what has happened, is when he decides to go to New York.
He arrives just before everyone erases the bad memories with the issue that Tony invented in "Civil War" and convinces them to investigate the Quantum Realm, for him it will have happened only minutes and in real life years. Everyone decides that they should keep fighting with that opportunity and that is when Natasha goes in search of Clint, although she finds it very changed.
The dead are dead, but perhaps there is an option for one of them, maybe Thor can come back. The Asgardians who die like heroes go to Valhalla and that's where it could be, in Helheim; where he will find the murdered Asgardians and his brother, Loki. Both of them will have to escape from there and with help from outside, I think it will be Rocket, they will get it. Thor and the Asgardians will return to Earth before travel in time.
With the time machine already built, the Avengers prepare to travel back in time and try to get the Stones before Thanos. In the filtered images we know that, at least, they will go to the battle of New York and get the Tesseract.
Little by little they will get the Stones and one of them is the soul, someone must die for the rest to have it and this someone is Tony, so he had to survive so that Pepper could throw him and get the Stone.
After all this, my imagination is a bit scant, but I think they will fight against Thanos and with great effort they will defeat him, the Infinity Watch will be created so that something like this won't happen again. With the invention of Tony they will erase the memory to the whole world so that they do not remember such trauma and the heroes who died will come back to life, except Tony. Steve won't want to continue anymore and will use the time machine to go back to the time where he belongs. The rest I don't know very well what will happen, but I hope it is not very sad ...
